So one trucking company is all that’s holding up the food industry in Australia? Sounds about right.

And here we go, I was going to say and now it starts, but that is not true, started years ago

I saw one their trucks this morning. More BS to raise prices.

Wow, that's really sad for the company and those workers who now see themselves unemployed. These are difficult times even for those who are employed. For those who are not, it is becoming a continuing waking nightmare. With no end in sight.

But there's money for Ukraine 👍

Good news. Hopefully more people will wake up

Comes down to poor management.

Just another excuse to price gouge - we know the motivation and we know the rules they played by

Do they not realize Coles has had a major problem in their freezer section for what seems like forever?

Me thinks lack of drivers!

More inflation by increased pricing! ?

Of course, with the train derailments in the US, the manufactured weather events, and trucking companies going bust, guess the powers that be may get their wish and we will all starve

How do you F up a business so bad? Did Coles and Woolies refuse to accept higher freight costs? Why are we only just hearing about this?

Let me guess. It will 'force' all supermarkets to increase prices again? Just a wild guess

Everyone has been feeling the pinch, including transport companies. Between the regulations, cost of operations and customers demanding lower prices. I’m surprised more transport companies haven’t gone under.
