That’s really good actually. The market was down 28%.

Losses are only losses when something is sold, typical clickbait. Did your house in Calgary drop in$ since tax? did you have a loss? Nope. Stop, stop doing this media. Scare tactics, fear mongering and stirring up comments about salaries. There is NO loss.

The investment losses reduced AIMCo’s total client assets by about $10-billion from the previous year, to $158-billion. AIMCo had the strongest year in its history in 2021, posting a 14.7-per-cent return that made it one of the top-performing pension investors in Canada that year

And this is who the UCP stole control over teachers’ pensions for! FireTheUCP

This investment management Corps returns have been and still are absolutely dismal - a joke within the industry!

Remind me how much the CEO is pulling out of the investment fund for his annual salary, so he 'only' loses the AB pensions 3.4%.

If AIMCO invested in Alberta energy companies in 2022 the returns would have double digit positive.

How is every person not fired? Their ONLY job is to not lose money. They failed. Again.

I read their report. It was (purposely) confusing. Gee, I wonder why? ABDanielleSmith KEEP YOUR MITTS OFF MY PENSION! abpoli UCP_Alberta ableg

Better then the 9% loss for the benchmark $TSX

This is the kind of results to expect after the UCP pulls Albertans out of CPP? No more experiments with our money, please! UCP & their friends have failed us over and over, nobody trusts them. This news should be front and centre in Notley campaign.

Meanwhile CPP posted a 6.6% return, that would be a 10% overall net loss in 2022 if we had the Alberta Pension Plan instead of the Federal.

Eyeroll. Big payouts to the CEOs & 'management' of AIMCo. And they 'only' repeatedly lose investor funds by single digit numbers. And Smith & UCP want OUR pension monies? Pffffft.
