U.K. stocks continue negative streak, decrease for third session

Among FTSE 100 constituents, clothing company Burberry Group PLC BRBY, -4.71% saw the largest drop Wednesday, as shares dropped 4.71%

Prudential PLC PRU, -2.26%, a life insurance company, and investment advisors firm abrdn PLC ABDN, -2.08% rounded out the top five largest decreases as their stocks dropped 2.26% and 2.08%, respectively. Shares of software firm Sage Group PLC SGE, +1.79% and diversified reits company Land Securities Group PLC LAND, +1.77% increased 1.79% and 1.77%, respectively.

The pound was down 0.53% against dollar GBPUSD, -0.52% at $1.2499 and 0.45% against the euro GBPEUR, -0.45% at €1.1666.
