That was a significant factor in the organization’s assets, which include land and buildings, decreasing during that fiscal year from $105.6 million to $96.2 million, Houseknecht said.Returns on the multiple types of investments have improved since the latest Form 990 was filed and positive operating results are reasons he does not see the loss as the beginning of a trend, he said.

In addition, there were special events including the Little League International Congress related to the 75th anniversary of the baseball world series in South Williamsport, he said. President and CEO Steven D. Keener, $523,996; chief operating officer Patrick W. Wilson, $373,295; chief marketing officer Elizabeth Brown, $329,198; Houseknecht, $321,641; chief legal counsel Karl T. Eckweiler, $321,057, and treasurer Melissa Singer, $186,762. Eckweiler no longer is with Little League.
