They start at $650 for a single-vision pair and $850 for progressives — not including frames. Complete glasses, therefore, can run more than a thousand bucks.

Davidlaz amazes me that none if the companies have really been able to make it a fashion thing. A myopic since 6th grade I have 1 pr of progressives & 1 pr progressive sunglasses that last about 2 yrs. the net/mail order guys can’t really do anything other than distance or reading.
