Associa, founded 46 years ago by John Carona, will move its headquarters to two buildings in Richardson after acquiring them in an off-market transaction.

Residential property management firm Associa is moving its base of operations to Richardson.residential real estate“Long-term ownership provides us with the opportunity for appreciation in value, along with significant debt amortization and tax benefits over time,” said Carona. “Purchasing at this point in time also allowed us to take advantage of depressed market values.”Associa, which has 300 offices across 42 states and operations in four countries outside of the U.S.

Carona pointed to Richardson due to a “highly educated workforce, a friendly and helpful city government, and a well-maintained and secure business district.”The new base of operations at Creekview I and Creekview II spans 260,000 square feet between the two buildings and includes amenities such as a fitness facility and cafe. There is also an adjacent childcare facility.

Carona said the company will invest $15 million over the next eight months in building improvements before moving 1,000 employees to the new headquarters in the first quarter of 2025.Santander recommits to downtown Dallas with 211,000-square-foot lease, Real estate reporter.
