Stock futures edged lower Sunday night as investors await key inflation data for further clues on the longevity of this year's market rally. Earnings from some major financial giants and consumer companies are also on the docket.has rallied about 16.

Producer price index data will be released Friday."This keeps the upcoming inflation data in the driver's seat for determining the timing of the first cut...signs of continued moderation of economic growth and the labor market will likely be a positive for equities and high yield bonds in, at least, the short run," Greg Wilensky, head of U.S. fixed income at Janus Henderson Investors, said.
