OAKLAND — For years, federal prosecutors say the 200 block of Makin Road here served as a one-stop shop for illegal wares, until narco agents got wind of what was going on.

On July 1, U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers signed a minute order sentencing 50-year-old Daniel James to 10 years in prison and five years of supervised release.
