Spending hours watching beauty tutorials on YouTube and doing treatments on her friends and family, Aqeebah Saghir felt confident in bringing others joy. Now, she's turned this hobby into a fully-fledged business.
“I have always known it’s something I want to do long term so when the opportunity arose at the plaza I was very excited to take it. I hope the business will expand and I want to produce and sell my own beauty products and open up more salons in the future.” Aqeebah, who is mum to two children, manages the business and also does lash extensions and facials, with the help of three other employees.
