Canadian aircraft maker Bombardier has announced plans to sell its Belfast aerostructures business.

The company, which employs 4,000 people at a number of sites in the area, said it was creating a streamlined aviation unit focused on operations in Montreal, Mexico and Texas.

As a result, it said it would pursue the sale of its aerostructures businesses in Belfast and Morocco, describing them as"great businesses with tremendous capabilities".

Yes we know it has been on the cards for the last 5 years.

The government should take it under state control , a state owned aircraft building company ...!
