“The local housing unit or Department from the Swartland District Municipality has started with the assessments as soon as they are done with the assessments then they will send us a name list and the number of structures that have been damaged. So far, they have reported that there are 40 structures damaged. Among those structures, there are formal houses, brick and mortar, and also bungalows that are made up of iron sheet and wood,” he said.
