The former executive director of the Broad Street Market is accused of using the market’s credit card for personal expenses, including ATM withdrawals and Uber rides, police said.

former executive director of the Broad Street Market in Harrisburg was charged with theft and access device unauthorized by issuer on Thursday

Investigators were notified of the fraudulent statements – submitted via Monroy’s Broad Street Market email – by the market’s treasurer in March 2024. Police also said Monroy issued Broad Street Market checks to his sister and “Serve the City,” a Carlisle-based charity Monroy is involved with.
