Even among the youngest workers, between 16 and 24, immigrants have significantly lower labor force participation. Along the other indicators, the pattern still holds but less so for young workers.? It is possible that seasonal farm work, in which a lot of immigrant labor is employed, might result in fewer weeks worked.
