Chief Justice Raymond Zondo Chief Justice responds to the speakers after handing down his last judgment on August 21, 2024,One of the witnesses in the State Capture Inquiry and spokesperson of Citizens’ Forum, Dennis Bloem, has described outgoing Chief Justice Raymond Zondo as a man of integrity.
Bloem, a former chairperson of Parliament’s Correctional Services Committee and former Congress of the People spokesperson, testified in the inquiry on corruption allegations of Global African Corporations previously known as Bosasa. His decision to testify followed former Bosasa CEO Angelo Agrizzi’s testimony, which revealed alleged rampant corruption and bribery at Correctional Services for over 14 years.“A patriot who loved his country dearly, who was willing to put his own life in danger, in an effort to rid our country of the cancer of corruption. The contribution of Chief Justice Raymond Zondo can never be forgotten.
