In City Press Business today: Green fund to unlock R150 billion for Eskom; Contractors drop R36 billion cost bill on Kusile; BBC president Sandile Zungu: Dear President Ramaphosa, this is what needs to be done

City Press BusinessA unique financing vehicle, based on reducing carbon emissions, is being developed by the Eskom sustainability team – appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa last year – in order to raise up to R200 billion to save the utility from its debt spiral.Contractors working on the Kusile Power Station in Mpumalanga have submitted claims to Eskom for extra costs totalling R36 billion.

Just five years ago Rebosis Property Fund and its founder Sisa Ngebulana were unstoppable…However, this week the Rebosis share price fell very close to an all-time low.

So when Eskom CEO Phakamani Hadebe claimed it would cost about R18bn to finish Kusile and Medupi, was this included

.....as long as it is not government pension funds.
