KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI opened lower on Friday as investors took profit while evaluating the Federal Reserve's interest rate outlook in light of recent inflation and labour market data.

KUALA LUMPUR: Public perception of the announcement that Microsoft's would invest RM10.5bil to develop Malaysia's artificial intelligence capacity is mostly positive.

On May 2, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar said that the RM10.5bil investment in the country was the largest single investment by Microsoft in its 32 years in Malaysia.
