A 45-year-old doctor in Selangor lost RM3.5 million after falling victim to a non-existent online investment scheme called 'Online Dimensional Investment'. Police investigations revealed that the suspects used fake contracts and claimed to operate from Singapore.

SHAH ALAM: Seorang doktor di pusat perubatan swasta alami kerugian sebanyak RM3.5 juta selepas terpedaya dengan skim pelaburan saham yang tidak wujud melalui ‘Online Dimensional Investment’.

“Hasil siasatan awal mendapati, modus operandi yang digunakan oleh suspek untuk memperdayakan mangsa dalam urusan pelaburan itu melalui akaun pelaburan saham ‘QFII’ yang dipanggil sebagai ‘L-Trader Max’. Justeru, polis membuka satu kertas siasatan di bawah Seksyen 420 Kanun Keseksaan selepas laporan diterima oleh Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Komersil Selangor.
