Co-owner of the popular Nomad restaurant group has been removed from the management of the business by his wife and business partner Rebecca Yazbek.Rebecca Yazebek announced the move in a post on Instagram, apologising for her husband's actions.Alan Yazbek, co-owner of the popular Nomad restaurant group, was charged for allegedly displaying a poster with a Nazi symbol at a pro-Palestine protest in Sydney.

"Two weeks ago, our co-director Al Yazbek behaved in a way that offended a lot of people," she wrote. "We deeply regret the impact his actions have had on the community, and for that, we sincerely apologise.One dead, almost 50 sick in McDonald's E.Coli outbreak"As both his wife and business partner, I was furious with his actions and heartbroken by the harm they caused."

She said she fully understood the frustration of those affected, and said she was committed to restoring trust with the community. The couple own several restaurants including Nomad, and the incident has been costly with chefs leaving and some brands severing ties ahead of the Spring racing season.
