A former contractor of the D3669 road in Phadzima-Dzumbathotho outside Louis Trichardt in Limpopo is taking legal action against theAubrey Tlhapa says the termination of his contract is politically motivated. He claims that he only got a termination letter after a new contractor had already been appointed.
The agency says Tlhapa’s company abandoned the site for over five months and failed to complete the project by the agreed date.“With the action that they’ve taken, there was an element of sabotage. Because if you say work, but you don’t give me the resources, the material, how can I work? Because according to DMR, you cannot take soil where there’s no approval of that borrow pit. So that has caused a massive delay. And then we’ve appointed a law firm which is now working on this matter.
