Belfast Christmas Market 2024 dates, opening times and everything else we know

Marking its 20th year as the focal point of city centre festive celebrations, the annual food and craft market is expected to bring over one million visitors in 2024.

Market Place Europe Limited, which currently holds the Continental Markets contract, will be celebrating 20 years of the Belfast Christmas Market and plans Dickensian-themed weekends. There will be over 100 stalls and the new contract also sets out the requirement for 40% local traders and 60% continental traders. There will be a Santa’s Grotto supporting the Lord Mayor's Charity and a return of free school educational tours.

Emma Goodman, founder of Haus of Hank, continues a proud family tradition of entrepreneurship, following in the footsteps of her Great Aunt, Granny, and Auntie, all of whom worked at the iconic St George’s Market.
