Five members of the Seti family who were gunned down at Ncenjana village near Bityi outside Mthatha in the Eastern Cape are to be laid to rest today.
An elderly couple, a daughter and two grandchildren were gunned down by heavily armed assailants two weeks ago.Blayi says, “When the bodies arrive here at home, we will take the couple to the rondavel where they were shot and killed, we will then continue to that room where Selina and two grandchildren were gunned down and introduce them to the ancestors and after that, we will continue to the grave site.
Provincial government spokesperson Khuselwa Rantjie says, “The service scheduled for the second of November will be a reflection for the remembrance of the family and the community. Leaders from the provincial government, traditional leaders, religious leaders will also attend the funeral.
