A woman named Shirley was left disgusted after finding mouldy noodles in her Hokkien mee from a stall at Bedok 85 Market. She ordered fried prawn noodles from the 85 Bedok North Fried Oyster stall on November 3 and discovered the issue while eating with her husband. They reported the incident to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) on the same day. While the SFA inspection did not detect any food safety lapses, the stall operator was reminded to ensure cleanliness and proper food handling practices.

The SFA emphasizes the importance of both regulatory measures and responsible practices by food operators, urging the public to report any concerns about food safety
