This happens all too often, unfortunately. Insurance companies should not get to dictate what treatments are appropriate. That’s for doctors to decide! The system is BROKEN. It cannot be fixed without a major overhaul to the health insurance model.
I am trying to contact our local new station to TRY to get exposure for personal stories like this. Insurance costs way too much and refuses necessary care. That they would do this to a child is sickening.
