The Dairy Council of Northern Ireland has issued a stark warning about the implications of a no-deal Brexit in the north.
Tariffs on raw milk and finished dairy products being exported from Northern Ireland into Europe could total £320m, according to the DCNI. The DCNI says that processing shortfall of 600 million litres will mean there will be huge volumes of milk that have no viable home and will be worthless.
