Morrison govt 'failing small business' | Sky News AustraliaLabor Senator Deborah O’Neill has lashed out at the Morrison government, accusing them of “failing small business” while acting “in secret” with the current franchising and wage system.\n\n“There’s something that really stinks in this franchising model,” Ms O’Neill told AM Agenda. \n\n“While people think they’re going to get great support in a franchise structure, the failure rate of franchise businesses is not that dissimilar to somebody starting their own business.\n\n“It's a big problem.\n\n“Self-regulation is causing exploitation… [the Morrison Government] are failing small business.'\n\nThe NSW senator said despite being handed down a report in March from the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services that provided recommended changes to the current system, they “continue to not be implemented by this government”. Does she realise small business is not part of the groundwork towards a Nations economy & that taxes are designed strategically to be in favor of large corporates? Who else can afford to pay Politicians their fees? Whoa, they axed penalty rates, meaning all that extra cash now pays for world travel & private schools for the business owner. Of course, small business owners now have half their usual customers, as morrisons wage repression has made them the working broke people. Wrong. Unions are the root cause. Unions and your overrated pay rates. How about you talk to the business owners not just make bland statements about secrets and bs AustralianLabor
