GEORGE TOWN: Two people were slashed by four masked men near Taman Cemerlang in Jelutong here in a dispute over their towing business early Monday (Nov 11).

A 19-year-old suffered back injuries and received 57 stitches to his head with 10 stitches on his right arm while his friend sustained injuries to his right hip in the 12.30am incident.

“According to the two attackers, aged 44 and 36, the owner of the car phoned them to tow the car back to their workshop. “The victims then told them off for being disrespectful and a quarrel ensued, with both parties challenging one another,” he said.
