"The new store offers another grocery option that's distinct from Whole Foods Market, which continues to grow and remain the leader in quality natural and organic food," the spokesperson said in an email to Business Insider.The job descriptions indicate that this store will not operate in the same way as the Amazon Go stores, where customers can shop without having to interact with a cashier. One description says that associates will be handling cash, for example.
The hourly salary starts at $15.35 for an associate-level position. These employees are required to work up to 10 hours at a time "with or without reasonable accommodation," the ad said.
