“It does seem desperate, but I don’t really see a legal problem with it as long as everything is disclosed,” Ghosh told The Daily Beast. “The straw donor error is that you’re disclosing that you’re the contributor, when really it’s someone else,” Kang said. “In this case, it’s the campaign.”
