governor, Umar Namadi, has sworn in Hannatu Sabo as the first female commissioner for finance since the state was created in 1991.
Until her appointment, she was a lecturer at the Department of Accounting at BUK, where she worked as a graduate assistant from 1994 until she rose to the rank of professor in 2018. Lawan Danzomo, commissioner for Basic Education and Isah Chamo was posted to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology as the commissioner.
