Fire has razed three buildings at the intersection of Nnamdi Azikiwe and Docemo in the Idumota area of Lagos state.The fire mainly affected three buildings around the Idumota market — two 2-storey buildings and a three-storey building.

TheCable understands that the fire destroyed some shops and warehouses containing goods worth millions of naira.In a statement, Margaret Adeseye, director of the state rescue service, said the agency is yet to ascertain the casualty toll and the cause of the fire incident.“Upon arrival at 07:58 hours, it was discovered that the fire encompasses three buildings, including two 2-storey structures and one three-storey building,” the statement reads.
