Caterpillar : The industrial giant's second-quarter results beat Wall Street estimates on the top and bottom lines. While the stock has been in both positive and negative territory Tuesday, Jim Cramer said, "I happen to like the quarter.

" Uber : Shares jumped more than 8% after the ride-hailing provider reported stronger-than-expected quarterly results. Jim said he liked what CEO Dara Khosrowshahi had to say about the quarter. Palantir : Shares soared more than 12% after the analytics software maker known for its government work delivered better-than-expected earnings and upped its full-year revenue outlook. "That's AI, by the way," Jim said in an attempt to explain what's helping Palantir's results.
