Micron Technology's stock soared over 11% in after-hours trading following the company's earnings report, which beat both revenue and earnings expectations. The strong performance was attributed to a surge in demand for HBM (High Bandwidth Memory) used in AI chips.

Morgan explains,"It does appear that they are beginning to see a real good benefit from HBM, which, of course, is the high bandwidth memory that's used with the AI chip. So we're coming out of a down cycle. We've had a couple of good quarters. Now we're getting this AI top over the numbers, and it looks like they did gain from that.

So, you know, you kind of hinted about this before and you know, looking at these just highlight numbers, it does appear that they are beginning to see a real good benefit from HBM, which of course is the high bandwidth memory that's used with the A I chip. So do you think this sort of put some of those concerns to rest a good question, Julie because if you look at their core markets, which is data center, smartphone, PC, smartphone and P CS aren't doing that great, right?If you look at DRM pricing in terms of spot pricing, it's just kind of level that it was coming down.

And I guarantee on the conference call, they're gonna ask the same question over and over 10 different ways, try to get him to say something a little bit different. We know that NVIDIA has come out and now that for the New Blackwell 100 chip that comes out this October, these are their A I chips, they will be coupling it with the uh the high bandwidth memory coming from uh micron technology.
