Accused number 5 in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial, Fisokuhle Ntuli, has denied communicating with accused number 1 Muzi Sibiya.The witness is expected to testify on the movement by a vehicle that was driven by Longwe Twala the day the Bafana Bafana captain was murdered.

Twala was one of those present at Kelly Khumalo’s Vosloorus home, east of Johannesburg when two alleged intruders entered in October 2014.The defence has objected to this evidence – however, state prosecutor George Baloyi says it stems from allegations by defence counsel, Thulani Mngomezulu that Twala was the one that allegedly shot Meyiwa and injured himself in the process.

“These allegations are so serious that they go to the heart of what is of issue in this case and they ought to be investigated. My Lord, if auto vehicle location records can assist the court in the determination of these issues, then it is in the interest of justice that evidence be allowed.
