One landlord says he couldn't stockpile as he is struggling to get supplies of the drink in the first place: 'It's like toilet roll during Covid - I can't get hold of it'

“I went to one supplier this week but they were all out of stock. I phoned another yesterday and they said they’d got two in, and that I could have one.” Kim Kardashian and Olivia Rodrigo are among celebrities recently pictured enjoying a pint of the black stuff and have been credited with fuelling a Guinness renaissance among younger pub-goers.

“It was probably like 30 per cent of sales around this time last year and it’s gone up to 40 per cent. Just in draft, it’s like maybe 70 per cent of sales.”
