While global LEO satellite networks are expanding rapidly, serving the specific requirements of African businesses presents unique challenges.

The low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite industry is in its initial market adoption phase with companies like SpaceX's Starlink and Eutelsat OneWeb already delivering services in Africa. Other global operators, including Amazon Kuiper, Telesat Lightspeed, Rivada Outernet, and Chinese players, plan to enter the market in 2026/2027.
