Orlando Pirates announced the appointment of new coach, Josef Zinnbauer on Tuesday.
Soweto giants Orlando Pirates have appointment German Josef Zinnbauer as the club’s new head coach on a three-year deal. He replaces Milutin Sredojevic who left the club to go to Egypt but has since been fired by Zamalek. Zinnbauer’s last stint as coach was at Swiss Super League side, FC St. Gallen between 2015 and 2017. Pirates chairperson Irvin Khoza said he has high hopes for the club’s new appointment after a disastrous start to the 2019/2020 ABSA Premiership season.Mokwena will then return to his position as assistant coach alongside Fadlu Davids.
