Warning issued for thunderstorms in parts of KZN

has issued a warning of thunderstorms for some parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

The Provincial Cooperative Governance department has disaster management teams on standby to assist people who may need help.Forecaster Wisani Maluleke says already there are areas experiencing thunderstorms, including New Hanover in the midlands. “Predicting 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the province, currently thunderstorms activities are happening in some parts of the province like New Hanover, Greytown, Melmoth, on the northern KwaZulu-Natal. Eshowe and Underberg and some of the thunderstorms that might be severe with winds and hail even lots of rain which will result in flooding.”
