Unforeseen circumstances resulted in renewed power cuts: Presidency

President Cyril Ramaphosa has refused to apportion blame after the return of– saying unforeseen circumstances resulted in renewed power cuts, despite his assurance that there would be no load shedding before January 13.

The President’s spokesperson Khusela Diko says there was no ill intention on the part of Eskom or Gordhan in this regard. “You will remember that the system was stable during the December period. Now what has subsequently happened could not have been planned and that’s why we keep saying that there’s been no planned load shedding as Eskom had committed.”

Unforeseen is the prime quality of the ANC. The Poms had Ethelred the Unready and SA has Cyril the Unforeseen. Jokes of history, both.

How much more power cuts do we have to go through it is a disgrace

Blah blah blah! We don’t believe a word of this crap anymore!

Is this nonsense what you call fixing the country

Something to smile about, we have a new Laurel and Hardy comedy show starring Andre de Ruyter and Jan Oberholzer The show will be performed by candlelight and is guaranteed to be hilarious andrederuyter eskomloadshedding Eskom_SA

samkelemaseko It's unforseen circumstances cos Jamnandas Gordon is part of it but if it could have been someone else concomitant action would have been the solution

fire them all

Has Ramapunzel been headhunted by the geniuses at MEGATWAT PARK? Why is he lying to us at their request?

ANC 108th anniversary has turned to be damp squid, you can't celebrate rhetoric while reality of loadshedding is inevitable.

Thank you Mr president, you are not looking at Eskom , you have people in that soe eho should keep the public informed otherwise you will end up being a spokersperson for all soe's.

As the ceo of this country ( a job he willing volunteered for) it is his responsibility. A good leader takes responsibility even if itay not be his fault directly.

We are told fossil fuel is not good naturally but you see many South Africans being obsessed about eskom and you ask yourself What a bomboclat community, PresidencyZA CyrilRamaphosa the president made it clear that we must look alternatives.

The comrades are partying, while we suffer under the MYANC government. They really don't care.

The excuses keep changing.

Korr ra nyeliwa xem

Eskom and SAA are our children. You give SAA money then the other child starts with the loadshedding and retrenchments.

It's always unforseen. And yet for years this has been going on.. Damn politicians..

He is nt tired of nt telling de truth......

samkelemaseko What are these people expecting us to say ? 'Oh sorry '' oh shame ? Sithini..I can't keep up really..What happened to Sabotage and who is responsible for the sabotage ? Unplanned or planned ? Were we misled? which lie must be followed? Jamnandas GO

Mara in this South Africa of ours, Will the be something good ever happening,if isn't load shedding ,it's water crisis, woman and children are being killed every day... Kahle Kahle what have we done wrong yeh ..😔😔

If Eskom was a car I would say it's driver doesn't have a driver's license... To Mr CyrilRamaphosa we cant keep justifying loadshedding, its a big L this. When you say the struggle continues you surely don't mean ppl should keep suffering...

samkelemaseko What a useless leader...

Unforeseen circumstances that led to lie to the nation

Mnxm

What was unforeseen was the shameful need for greed by the ANC elite that has brought the most beautiful country in the world to it's knees.
