Alice in the Eastern Cape is under water after it was hit by a massive storm this afternoon.

The heavy rain accompanied by strong winds hit the Raymond Mhlaba municipality up to Bhisho and surrounding areas under the Buffalo City MetroSeveral homes including new RDP houses have collapsed and businesses and streets are flooded.

Appliances are ruined. The situation right now is too bad.”

Businesses are under water and a fuel station is totally under water. Streets are also flooded and motorists have been stranded. The storm extended all the way King William’s Town, Bisho and surrounding areas.
