The Nelson Mandela Foundation says it’s time Parliament looked at ways to enact what it calls a ‘Hate Law’ via SABCNewsOnline

FW de Klerk said that he did not"fully" agree with the UN's ruling that apartheid was a crime against humanity.

On Thursday, the Economic Freedom Fighters used De Klerk’s presence at the State of the Nation Address as one of the reasons to disrupt the proceedings. As our Correspondent at the UN, Sherwin Bryce-Pease reports the General Assembly adopted a resolution as far back at 1966 when it labeled Apartheid a crime against humanity – a determination that was endorsed in a Security Council resolution in 1984.

Even in death hes betraying blacks

White people are going to jail us because we failed to jail them when we took over the country, instead we forgave them without them asking for an apology

We are still in an apartheid era.ANC is ruling since the ' democratic' government was set in place ...They have manipulated humans and abused the system to fill in their own greed .The poor is remaining poor .

This so called foundations who are their donors? Maybe we should start there.

Supported just as there is antisemitism laws

ANC sold us in CODESA they continue doing so. What I know is poverty will make us revolt . We are already poor so we have nothing to lose sesilinde ukuthi ivuke once.

I don't think there's a so-called foundation in South Africa that I still have respect for. All of them serve the oppressor's agenda

Sose se fatalla leng mara!!!!

People are not yet free, I thintk we are going backward instead of forward.

🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

It’s time to start prosecuting the black people for hate speech & racism! Every discussion they always refer to either that white guy or “umhlugu” or it’s because I’m black etc etc

Another diversionary tactic. We should be concentrating on the high unemployment rate and growing the economy.

WHY GIVE THE MAN SUCH PUBLICITY.

Brilliant. The entire country is up in arms over De Klerk. Not a single mention of loadshedding conveniently returning after SONA. This why our country looks like it does. People go after has beens rather than actually trying to fix the country!

VusiSambo If SAHRC says it will be difficult to charge De Klerk on his reinforcement of Apartheid, it should be easy to take back the Nobel Peace Price. The man deserves no praise & cannot go to his grave a hero because he is not. He did not give in in 1990 because he wanted to,

Indeed the EFF is determined to undermine all the efforts Mandela and ANC did for the construction of a SA shared by all who live in it. Please tell me Julius Malema is so clean he never wronged the citizens of this country in any manner. Does he have no cloud overhead?

“𝑀𝑎𝑦𝑏𝑒 𝑖𝑡’𝑠 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑃𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑠𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑙𝑒𝑡’𝑠 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑎𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑙𝑎𝑤.' What is hate law? Will that include the hate of the c𝗔𝗡𝗖er towards whites by illegally grabbing there land? Or does this lean towards censorship of social media?

ANC defending De Klerk, shocking!!!

Aren’t they the same clowns that tried to ban the flag and dismally failed?

De Klerk became president in 1989 & immediately set about engineering the unbanning of the ANC (1990) & led SA to democracy for all in 1994. The Nelson Mandela Foundation is out of line. It's as if Julius & Zindzi have hijacked NMF. I knew Madiba very well. He would not approve.

True. The hate speeches the man is getting can't be tolerated

I think the NelsonMandela Foundation and ZindziMandela should take a chill pill;there are just too many people seeking relevance by saying and doing the wrong things!

Do we see Zindzi Mandela's hand into this action?

'Hate laws' I don't like the sound of this one...looks like we gonna have to like De Klerk...

'Killing law'?

So anybody can have an opinion, as long as you agree with it… right

Hate laws against the EFF yes
