Eskom explained the reasons behind the load shedding as its generators went down and left the grid constrainedthat it says will run until Sunday, 16 February 2020. The cash strapped power utility, which suffered almost a decade of maladministration and corruption, implemented stage 2 load shedding on Friday evening.
Eskom Spokesperson Sikhonathi Matshantsha says some of its generators went down and left the grid constrained. “We have unfortunately lost four generating units this evening. And that means we have no choice but to implement load shedding. We regret this inconvenience. Our unplanned outages have now increased to 11 427 megawatts at 8. We will again update the market in the morning as to how the day will look like,” says Matshantsha.
Eskom_SA has turned to be the political alliance partner of CyrilRamaphosa, you easily predict them. We knew when they suspended load-shedding that they wanted to ensure Cyril deliver address without loadshing interruptions. Now SONA20 is over, we're subjected to this again.
Half story. It will go on and on. Even during the course of next week. Useless entity. Led by liars.
Thank you so much ESKOM we deserve this kind of treatment. The SONA is over and now we back to reality.
I'm starting to feel that Eskom really loves keeping us on dark.... 💔💔💔
Can't we have a SONA like event every day?😐 With less bling to cut costs.
