As far as I understand this asbestos roofing its said you cant have asbestosis if the roof is intact .If its broken it releases dust which is dangerous and causes lung disease called asbestosis
Simply removing said roofs is a health risk ! UK rules say can only be done by certified contractors . Why only 2008 ?
it seems the municipalities are not concerned about the peoples health, no one cares. in the Northern Cape province in a town called Springbok Namakwa region 85% of the houses still have asbestos roofs.
I lived under asbestos roof for over 40yrs and my annual checkups revealed zero health risk.
