Drugmaker Eli Lilly & Co. said Wednesday it is freeing up some of its scientists and research laboratories to conduct coronavirus testing in its home state of Indiana.

Lilly faces a challenge affecting other test labs around the country: supply constraints for chemical reagents needed to run the tests. Dr. Skovronsky said the company has been able to make some of its own reagents, but supply constraints could limit Lilly's ability to expand testing. The poll, of 1,050 Americans, found 63% did additional shopping to get ready for the outbreak, buying things such as food, medical supplies and alcohol. That is equivalent to an added grocery bill for most households, according toYoung people did the most preparation shopping, according to LendingTree, with millennials spending $44.30 more than baby boomers, on average.Facebook Inc.

“Even in the most free-expression friendly traditions of the United States you’ve long had the precedent that you don’t allow people to yell fire in a crowded room,” he said. “I’m personally quite worried that isolation from people being at home could lead to more depression and mental health issues. I want to make sure we’re ahead of that by having more people work on suicide and self harm,” he said.

This decision comes after "extensive discussions with federal, state and local officials and in recognition of the need to address the spread of COVID-19," the Indianapolis-based company said.
