UK doctors are threatening to quit because they have not been given enough safety equipment to protect them from the coronavirus

Two crossed lines that form an 'X'. It indicates a way to close an interaction, or dismiss a notification.Doctors in the UK could quit the NHS if they are not given better equipment to protect themselves from the coronavirus, according to a group representing them.

"That's the travesty of this situation, that the government needs to protect frontline health workers and in return they will give 100%. But the government hasn't kept its side of the bargain with NHS staff by not having enough PPE available to safeguard the health of doctors and nurses."about the lack of protective equipment in recent weeks.Matt Hancock, the government,

"I am determined to ensure that the right kit gets to the right hospital, the right ambulance service, the right doctors' surgery, right across the country," he"There have been challenges and I can see that. We're on it and trying to solve all the problems."

I stand with them. Doctors and nurses and all care workers are working in a pandemic with unfair remuneration and no PPE. Meanwhile, governments are propping up and bailing out useless Billionaires and carving out kickbacks for politicians. All while refusing to order lockdown.

As they should. Doctors and nurses are people too. As most of the British public is at home for fear of contracting the disease, they also want to be at home. They’re already risking their lives, the very least the NHS under Boris Johnson can do is mitigate the risk.

All Europe have the same problem.

Here, retired nurse/doctors volunteer to work again.

And here in Pakistan from the 1st day we perform our duties with simple surgical face mask and with out any protective kit....🙂

Think of other resources..

Our doctors under 800 sanctions, never threatened to quit! We lost 43 doctors in one month 😔 Dear western countries, now , can you find out our problems, problems that you made. For what?! Do we have nuclear weapons?! You know it,s a lie. End this brutal genocide. End sanctions

If a doctor is victim of any disease, the lives which are depending on him/her in number of thousands can't get the treatment. Save them before the chaos worsen and if any one of them gets an infection give his/her leave and rest...

Difference between American doctors and government run doctors. I don’t hear American healthcare workers threatening this at all. That’s because we have the best. Heroes.

As sad as this sounds, I can see this happening in the US

So quit,. We'll hire new people. Not news.
