China's coronavirus recovery is 'a promising sign' the US could bounce back just as quickly, says market analyst. (via ETFEdgeCNBC) Sponsored by InvescoUS.

The government's "stay-at-home" orders appear to be working well enough that U.S. businesses could be back up and running sooner than anticipated, Nick Colas, co-founder of DataTrek Research, told CNBC's"The bottom line is we're seeing very good compliance in the U.S. with work-at-home, stay-at-home requests by the federal and local governments," he said.

"The weekend traffic was basically zero," he said. "So, in New York, really the epicenter, we're seeing excellent compliance. People aren't moving around. And that's broadly true across the U.S." "The interesting thing is that as they've started to bring the economy back up to life, the weekday traffic is getting back to normal. The weekend traffic, which is consumer traffic, discretionary traffic, is still at quite low levels," he said. "So, they're doing a good job of bringing the economy back up, but consumer confidence just isn't there yet."

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS promising but no guarantees

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS I cant believe the words bounce back are used in reference too China's numbers. The info on deaths and cases of virus can only be seen as fiction.

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS BS. China is in a massive cover-up and the media is lazy and lapping up of the CCPs propaganda. A delivery driver in Wuhan has reported delivering 3500 box urns daily from just one of the three crematoriums in the city. The CCP are covering up the mass deaths.

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS The Chinese Recovery is totally fake. The virus is out of control there like everywhere else in the world. True infection count is in the millions.

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS Except that MAGAts are still in denial about it and have been trained by trump to blame China for his failures. We can’t make progress with people like. And we can’t trust our nos., either, since this admin is changing the cause of death of COVID-19 patients.

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS What do you consider 'quickly'?

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS For muricas commenting here questioning China. If China is faking the numbers, it will be the chinese who suffers. If it is true, it does not make your government look any better but the opposite. Finger pointing does not make coronavirus dispear from US.

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS How can the success of handling coronavirus based from market analyst rather than scientist?

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS I really don't understand folks who fail to comprehend how fake and censored China is. They release padded data all the time. You can't trust what they release until you see foreign companies report China segmented earnings to correlate whether the Chinese data is true.

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS How can we trust the data coming from China?

ETFEdgeCNBC InvescoUS China literally locked down its impacted cities and is likely faking a recovery. How can the US bounce back just the same if it hasn't even locked down NYC yet?
