Police Minister Bheki Cele says there seems to be a crime syndicate in the Western Cape, targeting liquor stores and outlets.

Cele was in the province in his continued drive to enforce lockdown regulations across the country. He warned that anti-liquor measures will be tightened during this period.

Minister of Police Bheki Cele says the Western Cape has reinstated a ban on the sale of cigarettes during the lockdown period. This after Western Cape Premier Alan Winde eased the ban on Thursday, saying cigarettes could be bought together with essential goods. The sale of cigarettes has been banned during the lockdown. Cele says Winde has failed to explain why he considered cigarettes essential goods.

Lets all thank Cele for very nicely gift wrapping the platform for syndicates to use this great opportunity by criminalizing alcohol... 😑 F%£k-tart Cele...

Yeah, they're called cops.

Oh no!! Must be shocked hey. PigSpotter

This flippin cowboy has no idea what is going on around him. Rxxx

1 + 1 = 11, right Mr Hat?

He doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground!

You give stupid a new name...

He doesn't even know how to use the face mask but wants to regulate an industry that pays way more tax than his buddies in the taxi association - if they even do!!! GovernmentZA CyrilRamaphosa

Nee nooit, regtig?

In WC they have to steal alcohol and cigarettes... in Gauteng you can buy it everywhere on the black market.

Maybe it is his own guys

Jirre die ding is dommer as katte kak!!!

Jirrr, GenBheki_Cele That’s why they pay you the big bucks!

People with petrified brains shouldnt wear hats. Their calcified brains overheat and they become more stupid.

I support u I thank u

Maybe Bheki Cele must stop trying to play god, he is so busy having a pissing contest with himself that he has forgotten that there are other people as well

The ANCancer, which you are a part of is a crime syndicate..Pot calling the kettle black! Passing the buck! Diversion of your ignorance! Blind leading the blind..I can do this all day long..Look at the way this self riotous imbecile dresses, it smacks of gangsterism!

Fighters of corona

It was visiting Paarl today.....

Inspector Clouseau aka Beki Capone at it again great detective work there Chief.

The one of many problems with the legal sale of alcohol is that many will spend all their money ( the little of it given the crisis ) on it before food ! And yeah it is their choice but also digs an even bigger hole

SEEMS ? I would say there IS- Seemingly it has nothing to do with the ban on alcoholism though 🤔

This one is stupid. He needs to drink his coffee rather than sniffing it with his big nostrils

What do u expect...

What did you expect?

Paldron Perhaps Cele should go read up on Prohibition and the rise of Al Capone. Where there's demand, someone will step in and fill the void.

We are led

Is there any possibilities for Minister to talk without mentioning alcohol.

That's funny, there seems to a crime syndicate in the ANC too..

Says the idiot who works for the biggest crime syndicate running the country.

So astute this Idiot-in-a-Hat. You can see why he’s in charge. 🙄

Yes, and they are selling liquid for 4 x the normal price in the hood...

daisy_matlou That crime syndicate is not from the Western Cape ~ you know mos we would have gone for the Drug dens 🙈

cci_network People are just interested in alcohol, cigarette n commiting crime by vandalising schools. I c chaos nje. You as citizens u just have tl follow the regulations n stay at home. Soldies, security companies n SAPS do their work. I think we need SHUTDOWN of the country.

Stupid!!

There goes Bheki Cele again about alcohol and bottle stores. Schools in townships are being torched by criminals, but till today I haven't seen passion behind this by the minister of SAPoliceService. Where are our priorities? lockDownSouthAfrica Covid19SA WarAgainstCrime

Ah, we know. That’s no news. What we want to know is what you’re doing about it? That’s your job!

Big gang then?... as it look more like free for all...

The police?

This is the first time that we can't go to church.

This should happen in every province in this 2days just for him to up left the ban

That is a very reckless and misinformed statement by the minister... but I forgive him, he has no idea what a syndicate is, he is just using the term to sound 'photosynthesis' 😁

Liquor store owners are not innocent on this it's their strategy to push government to lift the ban . Don't succumb to that nonsensical demand. Press on mr minister. U endla swona hence the noise👏👏💪

What did they expect 😂😂😂

How about the schools murder of a 14 year old was that due to Alcohol.. and there are other crimes.. you will destroy alcohol don't make me laugh 😂😂😂

Cele says he's gonna crack down on liquor store break in's but he can't even crack down on he's own crack. He also said you must stay sober! I suppose you have to stay sober when you try make cook home with no smoke. I'm trying but I still haven't got it right.

Don't mention western cape minister you failed to maintan law and order there

This man has misplaced his brain

Hy het nog fokkel gesien, dai net die trailer vani movie

There is no such thing we are all dry here,,,,He mustn't waste his energy to the western Cape. They just know how to walk the talk unlike us here in Gauteng.

That one he won't solve it but tell him that people are drinking alcohol yeiwena he fly without wings

Mnxm

'Seems' ?!?!

Wow really , maybe it because you banned alcohol sales ? Fcuk me , Cele is a sharp one ne ! It will happen illegally Cele , you are so naive and taxes won’t be paid either ! A double fcuk for government ! Idiot

Mr Cele who created these syndicates and who is helping them to exist who is keeping them thriving .Sit back and give this some thought

Stupid theory

Why so obsess with alcohol?FYI it's only a matter of time before others in SA do the same.Mark my words minister..mark my words.

Dunce

Fighting crime is not his strong point, he lacks in that area but give him the mic theeb he'll talk waya waya.

But he said there is no crime because of the liquor ban

- does he know about this?

Thank you who I wonder? Yes you guessed it was YOU you bloody tonsil. Go straight to jail, do not pass begin, do not collect Onety Six Million Twooty Eight Thousands 🤡🤡🤡

Haha... Our minister of police...

There is a market lol

It is even worse that your own police officers are defying your orders by colluding with criminals. Not easy to win against your own team

This extensions it shows kusazobheda serious

There's lots available. Just make a little effor

then why don't you just open for them

it look like the police mmm

There are syndicates targeting schools Minister. Focus!

He is forcing law abiding citizens, to find alternative means to buy what is required. I could not even buy balloons for my daughters school project. As it is not an essential item

Really? Or maybe people just want their booze. I saw random people looting in the videos.
