Some aggrieved casual workers of a Chinese firm in the Ogun, Guangdong Free Trade Zone, in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, have set ablaze one of the company’s vehicles and destro

yed two other vehicles.It was gathered that the decision to lock them up within the premises was part of measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 and to obey the order of the two-week extension of the lockdown order by the government.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the incident had happened three days back.He said, “It happened two, three days ago. The Chinese firm locked their casual workers inside the company since the beginning of the lockdown.

Well, we can't be losing home and abroad.

We must not allow them come here to turn us to slaves in our own land. They want to try but we must resist & the earlier the better. No one in their right senses should trust the Chinese people who think like the Chinese government. It is a shame what our government has allowed.

Why didn't the management pay them off so that they can go home? This lockdown isn't easy at all.
