Disney+ is on the road to success in its own right, though its value is dampened by the loss of cross-promotional capabilities. The streaming service now counts 33.5 million paid subscribers, for a total of 54.5 million overall, including those using free promotions. But the streaming service "won't be able to fully work for the company as intended," according to eMarketer analyst Ross Benes.
