Trump and Congress tried to make coronavirus testing and treatment free, but people are still getting big bills when they go to the hospital

with the coronavirus could land between $13.9 billion and $41.8 billion.

He didn't receive a coronavirus test and, after examining the X-ray, the doctor told him he likely had inflammation in the lungs and advised he take Advil. But, the nurse told Hill, she wouldn't be admitted to the hospital because her oxygen levels were healthy. And because she wasn't being admitted, the hospital wouldn't be performing a coronavirus test.

When patients see doctors, they sometimes order other tests to rule out similar conditions. That means patients can still get charged for those tests even if they only went to a provider in the first place because they feared they had the coronavirus.

And hospitals are whining about losing $60m per day because they can’t do elective procedures. Be wary - the hospitals will fuck every human for as much money as they can get their hands on!

If a patient gets a bill they disagree with they should appeal it - not run to the press. There are 1001 legitimate reasons people are billed, and sometimes the hospitals simply bill in error. That’s why there is an appeal process. Strange you didn’t even mention that ..
