My local high street is ‘garishly diverse’ now apparently!

I'm not sure about this type of casting. Olivier wasn't much good as Othello. On the other hand Adrian Lester did a good Hamlet.

Not sure Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet as ‘garishly diverse’.

Race mixing is bad

Is it now the case that journalists are not allowed to say they disapprove of forced diversity? The Sunday Times should never have apologised for this.

Хм,я задумалась

I'm actually really confused how something can be 'garishly diverse', are the actors bright pink and blue?

the robert Lepage Coriolanus from Stratford was brilliant.

i think i saw this one at the Barbican it was truly awful the worst RSC production I have ever seen.Shakespeare does not lend itself to Patois & Juliet had a thick undecipherable Scottish accent & NO chemistry with Romeo -utter garbage.

Stick to Macbeth 🤣😜🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇸🇪🇪🇺
